Now in its 33rd year, the Monday Night sitting group at Spirit Rock has been a welcoming refuge for the community to gather, hear the teachings of the Buddha and practice mindfulness meditation. We begin with 30 to 40 minutes of guided meditation, followed by a 15-minute break. The teacher then offers a dharma talk and answers questions from participants. We end with a 10- to 15-minute silent sit. The sit is appropriate for beginning and experienced students alike. Led by Mark Coleman.
