This online informational session with Mark Coleman is for those interested in applying to his Awake in the Wild Teacher Training and who have questions about the program. If you want to lead others in meditation in nature practices, now is your chance to ask Mark about this exciting program.
During the Nature Dharma program, you will immerse in the beautiful landscapes of Spirit Rock while cultivating a receptive, embodied mindful attention. This allows openness to receive nature’s wisdom teachings, including about impermanence, selflessness and the inter-connection of all life. You will explore how nature evokes profound insight, transformation and helps bring forth inspired ecological action.
For over 35 years now, the Monday Night sitting group at Spirit Rock has been a welcoming refuge to gather, hear the teachings of the Buddha, and practice insight meditation together as a community. The program includes a 30-40 min guided meditation, a short break, and a dharma talk.
